Public Animal Welfare Services
Our Mission
To shelter lost, unwanted and neglected animals.
To prevent suffering and provide healthcare services to sheltered animals.
To provide comprehensive adoption and rescue programs.
To prevent human injuries and the spread of disease by humanely capturing and containing free-roaming animals.
To assist members of the community in becoming more responsible at pet ownership by creating public education programs and providing helpful information.
To consistently work to improve our performance through education and by putting forth dedication to our mission.
When unavoidable, to humanely provide euthanasia.
Adoption Policy
All adopters must be over the age of 18. Adopters must be able to provide a photo ID. Adopters will be required to fill out an application as well as sign an agreement to spay/neuter their pet as well as get them their rabies vaccination (if the animal has not had these done yet). We believe in open and transparent adoption policies to make adoption accessible for everyone.
