Freddie's Felines
Our Mission
Freddie’s Felines, Inc. is a 501(c)3 licensed GA nonprofit, organized and operated exclusively for the purposes of rescuing, rehabilitating, providing medical care for, and finding lifetime homes for stray/unwanted cats within our local North Georgia and Chattanooga communities, and to help keep cats in their existing homes by providing assistance with veterinary care and access to low-cost services such as spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchipping clinics.
Adoption Policy
All interested adopters must contact us via e-mail for an adoption application. We are a private foster-based rescue organization, not a shelter — as such, we are not open to the public. However, we do facilitate adoptions by providing pictures and videos to approved applicants.
All adoptions require a home visit, which is completed when we deliver your new family member to you. We are able to drive up to 2-3 hours one-way. This is mandatory.
All available Kittens/Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, have been dewormed twice with both Strongid and Praziquantel, and have had age-appropriate vaccinations: FDRTC vaccinations at 6 weeks, 9 weeks, 12 weeks, and 15 weeks (or single annual boosters for adults) as well as Rabies vaccination at 12 weeks.
Adopters will be responsible for the FeLV vaccine series if desired.
Please note: Kittens/Cats are only available for adoption to INSIDE pet homes that *DO NOT DECLAW*. Freddies Felines, Inc. does not approve adoptions for outdoor cats, barn cats, or inside/outside cats. This is firm.
