Planned PEThood of Georgia
Our Mission
Planned PEThood is a 501(c0(3) nonprofit animal welfare organization based in Duluth, GA. We are dedicated to helping pets and the people who care for them with innovative programs and affordable services.
Our Mission is to help pets and the people who care for them by providing innovative programs and affordable services that SAVE LIVES!
We fulfill that mission in several ways:
--We operate a low-cost spay/neuter clinic that fixes 5,000 owned dogs and cats and feral cats each year.
--We offer low-cost vaccination clinics at least once a month serving more than 1,000 pets a year
--We rescue and rehabilitate about 750 homeless pets each year and find them loving forever homes.
Adoption Policy
If you are looking for a new companion, stop by an adoption day or check our listings of pets currently searching for new families! However, if you are interested in a specific pet you see on this web site, please contact the listed foster home for an application. Once your application has been reviewed, the foster parent will set up a time for a "meet and greet" (often at our weekend adoption days) so that you can spend some time getting to know the pet in which you are interested. Our adoption fees vary with discounts give for multiple adoptions.
Some of our adoptable dogs and cats can be seen on Saturdays from 12am-4pm in the following stores:
PetSmart Johns Creek
3630 Peachtree Parkway
Johns Creek, GA 30024
