Our Mission
Athenspets, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping the most vulnerable animals in the Athens (GA) area and the people who love them. We assist Athens-Clarke County (GA) Animal Services in publicizing the shelter animals for adoption, including by maintaining this Petfinder page.
Adoption Policy

To apply to adopt an animal, or to meet an animal that is currently in foster care, go to https://www.accgov.com/257/Available-Pets, select the type of pet in which you are interested (cat, dog, or other), then click on the photo of the animal in which you are interested. (Scroll up or over if the page then looks blank.) Click on "Interested in this Animal? Click here" and complete, at a minimum, the portion of the attached questionnaire concerning your contact information and the annual amount you are willing to spend to care for the pet (omitting "$" and "." --your answer will be rejected if you include any non-numerical characters).
