Our Mission

Vision
A future where pet overpopulation is controlled via spay and neuter best practices
resulting in the elimination of euthanasia of healthy companion animals. A future where all companion animals can be adopted into loving homes, receive appropriate vet care, and contribute to the overall mental and physical health of their owners.
Our Mission
To provide comprehensive companion animal resources, services, and
education to the community and other animal based non for-profit
agencies to prevent animal cruelty. To rescue, rehab and rehome homelessness
animals into new homes. To service the community in an effort to keep loving owners
with their pets during crisis and life changes.

Adoption Policy

Steps
Please understand that we ask many questions to recommend the best fit for your family and the pet. Most dogs in our care have gone through a rough time and may have a behavior issue needing support and training. For example, our foster home may share that the pet is housebroken if let out every 5 hours. If your family members are out of the house for 8 hours, this may not be a good fit and could cause frustration for the adopter and the pet as it transitions to a new home.

1. Fill out an application
2. The adoption coordinator will review the application and schedule a phone interview.
3. Meeting the dog/cat appointments will only be scheduled after a phone interview.
4. Your entire family must attend the in-person meet and greet.
5. A scheduled meet and greet does not guarantee an adoption. The goal of the meet and greet is to ensure all members of your family are comfortable with the pet and that the pet is comfortable with all members of your family.
6. When the perfect match is found, we will complete the adoption contract. The adoption coordinator or foster parent will review the adoption agreement in detail, answering any questions you may have.
7. Take your new family member home. Provide a quiet environment for the first few days as your pet decompresses and transitions to your home.
8. Questions once you bring your pet Home? Please reach out to POPS for any questions or concerns.
