We are dedicated to improving the lives of South Florida cats both on the streets and in the courts.
Adoption Policy
Prospective adopters are required to complete an Adoption Application, to include references and veterinary information, landlord information if renting their home. If approved, a "meet and greet" and home check are scheduled, and if all is good, we move forward with adoption. Adopters are informed that there is a 30-day waiting period AFTER they have adopted the cat/kitten before the microchip is transferred from the organization name to the adopter's name. This is a safety protocol I require for the protection of the cat first and foremost, but also so that the adopter knows that if for any reason during that 30-day time period, they feel this cat/kitten will not be a good fit for the lifetime of the cat/kitten, I can take the cat back into rescue without issue. I then revisit with the adopter to see that all is still well.
