Our Mission
The mission of "Wags to Wishes" is to empower low-income families to become responsible and caring pet owners by providing not only access to the adoption process but also financial aid for the entire journey of pet ownership. This includes assistance with vet care, food, supplies, enrichment, and other essential needs for the well-being of the pet. By offering this comprehensive support, we aim to ensure that every family, regardless of financial circumstances, can experience the joy and fulfillment of having a pet while also ensuring that the adopted pets receive the care and love they deserve.
Adoption Policy
Interested adopters contact us in regards to their living situation and pet ownership experience, including phone or in-person interview to discuss suitability. A home visit may be conducted to assess the living environment for potential pets. Approved applicants then meet potential pets to gauge compatibility and interaction.
