Our Mission
Getalong Dachshund Rescue, a 501(c) (3) charity, was formed out of an intense desire to change the lives of Dachshunds who find themselves homeless, one dog at a time. We pledge to not overlook the ones who are old, who are hurt. Primarily a senior and medical needs rescue, we are an all-volunteer foster based rescue . Our operating costs are funded by donations and fundraising. We happily accept adoption applications from every state in the contiguous United States, with the exception of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire.
