Come see us on the third Saturday of every month at Pet Supermarket, located at 99 Eglin Parkway Northeast, Fort Walton Beach, FL, 32548 (Uptown Station) from Noon until 3pm.
The Rescued Rescuers, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization located in the Panhandle of Florida that exists for the sole purpose of rescuing unwanted dachshunds and other small breeds in need.
Our Board of Directors is made up of experienced pet owners with over 15 years of rescue experience. Our volunteers are all pet owners with big hearts for saving dogs in need. Our group’s love, passion and dedication to rescue work is what brings us together and keeps us going. The humans keep up the work, but this group exists “By the dogs, for the dogs”.
Adoption Policy

Please note that we require all animals within the home to be current on annual vetting services. This information will be verified by your vet. If your pet(s) are not up to date on their annual shots, please make an appointment with your vet and take care of this prior to submitting an application. We will not approve any application until all vetting on current pets within the home is completed.
After a vet check has been approved, a home visit will be scheduled with the pup(s) so that the new pup(s) can be introduced to the new family and environment. This is to ensure the safety of the pup(s) as well as any current pets in the home.
