Give Hope Cat Rescue Inc
Our Mission
We are a foster-based nonprofit run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to rescue cats in need. We strongly advocate the TNVR program for our community cats.
Adoption Policy
To ensure that an adoption is a perfect match for the adopter and the cat, the application process may take from 1 to 2 business days as it is thoroughly reviewed. We do not do same day adoptions.
1.) Must be at least 21 years of age. If you are 60 years of age or older and wish to adopt a kitten, you must have a co-applicant under 60 years of age to fill out an additional application form with the understanding that if you should no longer be able to care for the kitten, they would adopt the kitten from you.
2.) This age qualification does not apply if you wish to adopt an adult or senior cat.
3.) Provide a valid form of identification, such as a license, passport, or state ID, with the current address (if the current address is not on the identification, a utility or rent bill may be used to validate your current address).
4.) Renters must provide their landlord’s name and phone number, or a copy of the lease.
Once we pre-approve an application, we contact the adopter and set up a time to meet them in their home in order to assess their living situation and the environment that the cat will be living in.
Once we approve the home where the cat will reside, we schedule an appointment for the adopter to come to one of our locations (usually foster's home) and pick up their cat with an up to date paperwork on all their vaccines and medical records.
