Grass Roots Rescue
Our Mission
Grass Roots Rescue (GRR) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit group that saves dogs who are at risk in shelters and within the community.
GRR was founded in August 2013 with two primary objectives:
1) Pull dogs that are at risk in animal shelters and get them adopted
2) Spay/neuter and provide life-saving veterinary care for:
Dogs at animal shelters & other rescues
Pets of persons with limited income
Adoption Policy
First step in the adoption process is to fill out our adoption application found at: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application
It takes us about 24-48 hours to review your application. Approved applications are forwarded to the foster family. They will contact you to answer any questions you might have and set up a meet and greet.
If the meet and greet goes well, you can fill out the adoption contract, pay the fee and take your new pup home the same day.
Adoption fees range from $100 to $350.
If you didn't receive an answer 48 hours after placing an application, please check your junk mail folder.
