Our Mission
To aid the homeless and neglected animal population of both Meriden and the state of Connecticut. Saving Paws works to nurture, adopt, educate and support the animals in our care as well as the individuals and organizations that rescue them.
Adoption Policy
PLEASE CALL before you come to visit-203-235-4179 We don't want to miss you! Appointments can be made 7 days a week. Please call first and always leave a message!
In order to adopt an animal, you must fill out an application as well as follow the below info:
*You must be 21 years old with valid proof of id
*Proof of home ownership
*If you rent or own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association to confirm they have given you permission to own a dog. Bully breed specific permission is required.
*Any other dogs in the home must be brought to MAC prior to adoption
*All children in home must be declared and brought to MAC prior to adoption
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADOPTION TO ANYONE BASED ON THE SAFETY OF THE ANIMAL OR PERSONS IN THE HOME.
