Our Mission
MaxFund is a non-profit organization established to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners and to find new homes for these animals once they have recovered. Further, the Maxfund is committed to the following goals:
Develop and implement education programs pertaining to animal care, with emphasis on the importance of spaying and neutering.
Disseminate information on spay/neuter facilities and, to conduct spay/neuter clinics for pets of low income families.
Be a voice for the animals on issues of animal welfare
Cooperate with other animal facilities/shelter in accomplishing these goals.
Adoption Policy
MaxFund is a physical shelter with 3 separate locations, all within a block! Take a stroll and visit some amazing dogs and cats!

Business hours:
We are open from 10am - 5pm every day EXCEPT Tuesday. We are closed on Tuesdays. We also close every day from 12-1 for lunch and nap time for the animals!
How our adoption process works:
1. We do not require appointments – come anytime during normal business hours. We suggest you call ahead to be sure the animal(s) do not have pending applications
2. Everyone in the household must come into the shelter to meet the animal you're interested in. If you are meeting a dog, and have dogs at home, they need to meet too! If you have a cat at home, no need to stress them out and bring them in! We will cat test the dog or cat and let you know if it will work out! You can meet up to three dogs in one visit, no limit for cats!
3. Once you've picked out the dog of your dreams, fill out an application!! The application process can take up to 3-5 business days for us to fully process and review. We do not offer same day adoptions, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We take great pride in sending our dogs to their loving, forever homes!
