Walk Me Home Rescue Group
Our Mission
Walk Me Home Rescue Group is an all-volunteer donation based non-profit organization under IRS section 501(c)(3). We rely on the generosity of our friends and the community to realize our mission of safeguarding, rescuing, medically treating, spay/neutering and finding forever homes for the dogs that enter our rescue. Our dogs come from local street abandonment (dumped), local owner surrenders and local shelter facilities; including dogs scheduled for euthanasia. Our rescue is 100 percent foster based, meaning our dogs are placed in the home of a loving volunteer foster family where they are incorporated into the daily lives of that family. The dogs are evaluated, medically cared for, loved and also receive basic training skills to aid in the transition to their forever home.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is as follows.
1. Adoption application. Please click on the link below to fill out an adoption application. It will be reviewed by our Adoption Team for a decisionÂ

2. Meet & Greet. We have adoption fairs on Saturdays and Sundays at PetSmart for meet and greets. We can schedule one should you be interested.Â
