Fetchin' Retrievers Rescue
Our Mission
Fetchin’ Retrievers Rescue is a Public Benefit nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. The primary mission of our organization is to rescue and rehome Retrievers (Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Flat Coated Retrievers, Curly Coated Retrievers, Duck Tolling Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Retriever-mixes) and find new, loving homes for them. Additionally, our goals are to promote and encourage responsible pet ownership, reduce the abuse and neglect of discarded or unwanted dogs, provide educational services regarding dog rescue and to educate the public about training, behavior, spay and neuter and promote compassion for all dogs. Our organization is an all-volunteer group operating in the Southern California region (i.e. Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties).
Our 501(c)(3) status is pending.
Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting from us, please complete an adoption application at our website (www.fetchinretrieversrescue.org). Once your application is received, it will be reviewed and you may be contacted to arrange a home visit. In keeping with our application process, there are no prearranged meet and greets with a dog until all adoption steps are complete and a match has been made. We adhere to this policy because we strive to ensure adoption success between dogs and their new family.
