Save a Stray Foundation
Our Mission
Save a Stray Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization created in 2015 with the goal of reducing the overpopulation of stray and feral cats roaming the streets of Maricopa County, Arizona.
Our focus is to educate the population about the importance of spaying and neutering household pets and how a non-lethal and humane cat management program can be implemented via “trapping and neutering ” stray cats in the community.
Adoptable cats and kittens are placed for adoptions into good homes through the help of foster partners. Our mission is to reduce the suffering of the stray and feral cats across the county that lack food, water, shelter, and medical care. After the cats are TNR’d, they are either adopted out or are returned to their colonies and are provided with food and water by volunteers on a daily basis.
Adoption Policy
An adoption form needs to be filled out and there is an interview process and meet and greet prior to formalizing any adoption.
