One Dog Arizona
Our Mission
One Dog Arizona is an organization devoted to bettering the lives of dogs, throughout Arizona and the families who love and care for them. Our mission is to save dogs from county shelters, who are facing euthanasia and give them a second chance at living the life they deserve. We then vaccinate, micro chip, spay/neuter and train the dogs in order to place them with loving families for the rest of their natural life. We also aim to help dogs stay with their families through our One Dog food pantry program—which provides bags of dog food to families in need—and our One Dog training program—which offers low cost dog behavior training to anyone seeking training advice and help. We feel that we can make a difference and keep dogs out of the shelter by offering support to their struggling families. One Dog Arizona also mentors and educates the children within our community on proper dog care. We encourage school aged youth to participate in our volunteer and foster programs and actively seek out opportunities to speak to school and church groups about the responsibility of owning a dog. Our motto is Together we are saving lives One Dog at a time.
