City of Rogers-Animal Services
Our Mission
Providing Public Health & Safety
The mission of Rogers Animal Services is to provide for public health and safety by removing stray animals from the streets, monitoring bite incidents, ensuring city laws and ordinances are enforced, protecting animal welfare, and saving lives through pet adoptions at the Rogers Animal Shelter.
This is accomplished by using a progressive method of animal control which is focused on education, enforcement, and reuniting lost pets with their owners. Rogers Animal Services is committed to serving both animals and citizens of Rogers.
Track Record for Saving Animals
Since 2010, Rogers Animal Services has had a major impact on the stray animal population by returning them to their homes, finding them new homes, or getting them into rescue organizations. In 2016, our live release rate for the year was 100%!
Since established in 1996, the Animal Shelter has been through a lot of changes. If you have not been by in a while you should come by and visit the new staff, our new facilities, and see all of the changes that we have made.
Adoption
Most important, come see our animals that are available for adoption. If you cannot adopt an animal yourself, and would like to help one find a home, you can sponsor an animal. You can sponsor the whole adoption fee or just a portion of the adoption fee. The shelter is always in need of donations, such as money, food, or your time as a volunteer.
Adoption Policy
All If you have questions about the adoption process, call the shelter at 479-621-1197.
