Iron City Rescue
Our Mission
Iron City Rescue seeks to provide outstanding veterinary care and find loving homes for, the vulnerable, neglected, or otherwise discarded, dogs and cats of Central Alabama.
Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must complete an application, naming the pet they desire. A representative will make contact with the applicant, conduct an interview, and a home inspection. A vet reference check will also be required for all applicants with resident animals, currently in the home. Should Iron City Rescue determine the applicant to be ill-fitted for the animal they applied for, we will discuss other appropriate options. All applicants with resident dogs, will be required to engage in a meet-and-greet, with the resident dog and the dog being applied for.
