East Alabama Humane Society, Inc. is a non-profit animal rescue society that has as its mission to promote and enable saving the lives of as many unwanted pets as possible. EAHS is the only no kill shelter facility within Russell County, Alabama.

Our adoption fees vary depending on age, size, behavior, medical condition and demand. The higher fees for some animals enable us to treat our elderly and "special needs" animals..
