Our Mission
C.H.A.R.M., Inc. is a group of volunteers who organized in 2010 to save the lives of the dogs at the Headland Animal Shelter. Â We provide food, medical care, and socialization skills to prepare the dogs for adoption. Â We provide shelter improvements to make their time spent in the shelter as comfortable as possible. Â We work at the shelter on a regular basis to clean kennels, feed & water the dogs, exercise the dogs and just give them love and attention.
Adoption Policy
We do not have a full time shelter staff person but we are happy to meet people at the shelter by appointment 7 days per week including after hours. Â We expect our adopters to (1) Own your property, (2) Have a fence adequate for the dog, (3) Be able to provide a vet reference if you have previously owned an animal.
