Betty’s Rescues
Our Mission
Betty's Rescue's mission is to help abandoned and/or stray small animals in need of medical attention. We operate within Montérégie and the Greater Montreal area. All of our team are volunteers.
Homeless animals are being take care in our sanctuary, than place them in foster home until their adoption. We also have permanent residents at the sanctuary (disabled and senior animals). We provide educational support to all our adoptive families and foster homes. We are also looking forward to develop a sensibilisation program for schools and communities.
We are always looking for fosters. We give them a training and provide all the supplies they need to host our animals.
We are a female lead non-profit and no-kill shelter organization that specializes in bunny rescue. All of our team are volunteers. We have a medical professional, veterinarian clinics partners and local businesses partnership.
We heavily rely on donations. Ask us about the animal merchandises that we sell on our Facebook page. We also provide hay and litter delivery to a really competitive price. You can find our products in some pet stores. All the money is used to pay the medical bills of the animals we rescue.
Adoption Policy
All our animals are seen by an experienced exotic veterinarian, Spayed/Neutered, Vaccinated Microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites (4 different dewormers). Exception: Elderly (10 years +) or high risk anesthesia.
We give you the medical file, a guide and emergency contacts.
We speak both english and french.
We can also offer pairing(depends on availability), foster to adopt and bunny dating.
All our animals are in a foster home, we do not own a local.
We will mostly contact via email or facebook messenger.
We do the adoption process in 3 stages:

-Meeting at your home
-Meeting at the foster
We offer a trial of 3 months before completion of the adoption.
