Animal Aide Pontiac
Our Mission
Promoting and ensuring the welfare of domestic animals in distress, promoting population control of domestic/stray/feral canine and feline populations through reproduction control by way of TrapNeuterReturn/CatchAndRelease and by providing access and transportation to affordable spay/neuter clinics, promoting animal welfare education. We specialize in colony management byway of TNR and socialization.
We are a foster-based Rescue assisting across the the Pontiac and Ottawa Valley, with particular focus on the Pontiac region of Quebec (from the border of Aylmer to Rapides Des Joachim). All community spay/neuter trips are open to any resident of any town or province, as long as you can meet at our pickup/dropoff locations.
Adoption Policy
***You must be 19 years and older to apply for adoption
***You can't apply for adoption on behalf of someone else
***Animal Aide Pontiac reserves the right to refuse applications
***Only successful applicants will be contacted
Because our fosters span across approximately 500 km, sometimes the visit will be at the foster, sometimes we will transport them to you to meet and decide.
Fee includes spay/neuter procedure, microchip, first vaccination (sometimes booster depending on length of time in care), flea & mite treatment, and first deworming.
Reformed TNR feral, now a house cat but still shy $100
Kittens/cats: $200 (we have ensured all mother cats, still living, have received their spay before taking in kittens)
older Adult cats: $100
Pups less than 1.5 years, small to medium size: $400 - $600 (we have ensured all mother dogs have received their spay before taking in pups)
Pups less than 1.5 years, large breed: $500 - $800 (we have ensured all mother dogs have received their spay before taking in pups)
