Hobo Haven Pet Rescue
Our Mission
Hobo Haven Pet Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers devoted to assisting homeless pets to help them find new forever homes. We work with rural pounds to intake unclaimed strays, as well as assisting with owner surrender requests.
We also strongly educate the public regarding the importance of spay/neuter practices, as well as keeping pets securely supervised at all times, including keeping cats indoors.
It takes a village....we are a small, low volume rescue who helps as many as possible within our limitations of foster homes and funds for vetting.
Adoption Policy
Hobo Haven is located in St Jacobs Ontario. Our foster families are within 45 mins of our location.
Adoption fees vary depending on the age of the dogs and medical expenses incurred. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, 4DX & blood testing, deworming, dentals if needed, medical treatment or surgery for any concerns, and parasite treatment as needed.
For anyone possibly interested in adopting from Hobo Haven, here are a few, but not all, criteria to be aware of:
An adoption application must be completed and approved, as well as a home visit, prior to meeting available dogs.
All dogs are placed in loving foster homes during their time with us, and out of respect for their privacy, we do not allow all interested applicants to visit for this reason. Any questions may be emailed to hobohavenpetrescue@gmail.com
