Alliston & District Humane Society
Our Mission
Alliston & District Humane Society is a 98% volunteer-run, no-kill organization that ensures refuge for stray and unwanted animals, prioritizing those abused and/or neglected. Our dedicated volunteers and foster homes act with love and compassion to find each animal a permanent home. ADHS provides the following services to the community: shelter, medical care, adoption of dogs, cats and small animals, a lost and found matching service, wildlife consultation and care, a feral cat program, and canine pound services.
ADHS is also committed to providing humane education programs for children, teens and community groups, as well as partnering with local social service agencies to assist low income or marginalized communities with animal food bank supplies, vet services and surrender support as needed.
