Bonnyville District SPCA
Our Mission
The Bonnyville & District SPCA was created to give a home to animals who have been abandoned, lost, abused and to provide these animals with a safe haven. We promote responsible pet ownership, and a commitment to make a difference. Help us help them. We provide resources for caring and placing these animals into a new home.

Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered (if under the age of 6 months a certificate will be given to get it done at 6 months old), 1 st set of vaccinations, dewormed and had their ears cleaned ( if needed). Adopters will also go home with complimentary 30 day health insurance, some small starter bags of food and a free vet wellness exam ( for Bonnyville or Cold Lake vet clinic only). You can find our applications at www.bonnyvillespca.com
Adopters must fill out an adoption application and have it approved. Approval does not always happen the same day, so if you are coming from out of town make sure you get the application approved before making the drive. To hold an animal for longer then 1 day, we do need the full adoption fee paid in full to be able to hold the animal for you. We do not deliver animals, adopters must come in person to meet the animal of your choice.
We work closely with the Pet Valu store in Bonnyville, and many times one of our adoptable cats is hanging out at the store. Pet Valu has our applications on hand if our shelter is closed.
If you aren't looking to adopt, there are many other ways to get involved. Volunteer, donate, become a foster parent. We hope to hear from you soon!
