Meet Luna
Luna is spending a month with Annika Greaney at Red Line Equestrian near Fargo, ND to work on some confidence and keep her skills from the Dakota Showdown progressing. Get your application in so she can come home with you!
Luna is smart, athletic and independent but has really enjoyed her summer as a 4H and trail horse. She likes speed but listens well, and is ready for just about any adopter.
Catching, leading, and tying
Standing for grooming and fly spray
Picking up feet for the farrier
Loads into a trailer
Lunges and moves haunches and shoulder
Going well under saddle w/t/c, lateral work
Has been on trails, ridden in a parade and 4H
Luna is from the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros, and came to GSH in December of 2016 during a crisis at ISPMB involving county impoundment and seizure, overcrowding and lack of resources.
