TRAINING: Mules are quite different than horses when they suffer physical abuse. It takes many, many hours of patient dedication to overcome this travesty in the case of a mule.
Arizona is 1,000 times better than when she first came, but she still has a way to go.
In this situation, she probably will not progress any farther in a way that will carry over to her adopter, than she is now. What we are saying is that we can (and are willing) to take her farther, but that trust process will just have to start over again with her forever person.
Arizona reportedly rides and drives. She accepts a bridle and saddle very nicely and has been ground driven. She needs a home where someone has a lot of time and patience, where the person is a low-key energy with a calm demeanor. A home where she can bond and be someone's treasure who will never raise a hand to her again.
She is the sweetest little gal and very very adorable.

Adoption fees may be outdated, as a horse may have moved into training, so check us on most current fee. Horses typically adopted UTD on vaccines, dental floats, farrier care and all vet needs.

We are looking to adopt to safe homes.
A history of good horsemanship, the ability to provide sufficient care with good vet, farrier and peer references are important. If you are a first time horse owner, we will require you to board at a facility for the first year while you learn more about care. We encourage everyone to take advantage of riding lessons.
Foal adoptions require previous, established experience with youngsters.
