I adopted Tsuki after my hamster, Amber passed away. I had been looking for another hamster for a bit, and came across an ad on Craigslist of baby Syrian hamsters. I of course jumped at the opportunity, and we contacted the ad, set a date, and drove down a week later. I adopted Tsuki and her brother, Milkweed that day.

Milkweed was originally supposed to be for my brother, but ended up becoming mine after he didn’t want to take care of him. Milkweed passed away about a half a year ago. Tsuki now lives happily in her 960 square inch IKEA detolf enclosure. I love her very much and can’t wait to take care of her for the rest of her life. Hamster care is much more than they tell you at the pet store, make sure to research every animal you plan on getting, and adopt, don’t shop.
