Snookie Happy Tails Dog Adoption Story February 2020

Snookie is an 8 year old female. The first 6 years she was ignored, and abused. She had mange, hair loss, lime disease, ear infections. Flea and tick infestations. She was rescued by WCHS at age 6 and spent the next 2 years with them getting healthy and learning love. She kept getting passed over for adoption because of her age. My wife and I were looking for a Black Lab when we found her. Although she is not a Lab, she looks almost identical to a Black Lab we used to have. It made our hearts melt for her and we had to adopt. She is house broken, very well behaved, and very loving. She loves to play hard with her toys like a 2 or 3 year old. Loves car rides, and learning new tricks. We are so blessed to have found her and love having her. We bought her a very comfortable bed before she arrived and she loves it. She has a toy box full of toys and loves squeaky balls and running at high speed in her fenced in back yard. She has finally found her forever home with all the love she can handle. We've adopted puppies, year old dogs, and now her. PLEASE, do not overlook the older dogs for adoption. Snookie is the best decision we ever made on adoption.
