Nova Kitty Happy Tails Cat Adoption Story May 2020

When I saw Nova's sweet little face on the PetFinder website I knew that I wanted her right away.

Nova was an 11 year old black haired kitty in a county animal shelter. So, I figured that she would probably have a hard time getting adopted. That helped me decide that she was definitely the kitty I wanted to adopt. I wanted to make sure that precious little kitty had a loving home.

Nova is especially tiny, but she doesn't seem to realize it. After I brought her home it was obvious pretty quickly that she was going to be the alpha cat in the house. My other two kitties are twice her size, but she is the one that ended up in charge. I'm not sure exactly how. I'm guessing it just must be force of personality or something.

Nova immediately moved into the cat tree that I have set up by the window next to my desk and pretty much hangs out with me all day. I guess she likes being closest to me so that she gets the most petting. However, I suspect she also likes being able to easily hope over onto my desk to check out anything I might be snacking on.

She is the sweetest little love and has the cutest little purrs. I'm definitely glad I decided to bring her home.
