We received the go ahead to have another dog in the house we’re renting. I looked for my floppy golden eared baby for months trying to find the one that “clicked” then I came across Hazel (then Aislynn) she was nothing like what I was looking for but for whatever cosmic reason she was everything I wanted. I saw her gigantic bat ears and petite white paws and I was hooked. I filled out the application one day after seeing her and followed up every day for almost a week. When the Autum (the foster mom) reached out I could barely keep my emotions in check. I cried happy tears and almost spelled my tame wrong twice. She’s my snuggle bug, my hazelnut, and my future. Thank you petfinder, Starfish Animal Rescue, Autum and most of all Hazel, for healing the broken heart of a 7 year old girl. She’s going to be trained as a ESA for PTSD, anxiety and depression. Most importantly she’s my little girl and I am so luck she chose me.
