Chloe was found on the streets of Arkansas before New England Humane Society rescued her. She ran to my son and I when she got off the truck from AR and never looked back. Chloe loves the quarantine because she has us with her all the time. We purposely disappear for a couple of hours now and then to get her used to life in the future, and she waits for us patiently leaving the house undisturbed. She is smart as a whip and wants to please. She lies down and waits til I tell her it’s ok to run to her food bowl. She understands “out of the kitchen” and responds immediately. This one year old, 51 pounder is a big live bug, sweet as can be to everyone she meets. Her favorite activity is running in the back yard with the chocolate lab who visits from next door. Second favorite is chasing balls. Third is chewing her toys, although she never touches any of our things. This baby came into my life 3 weeks after my husband passed away, and she was the best medicine for a broken heart ever. We love her so very much.

Erin & Clover

As soon as I saw Clover (formerly Lexie) I knew she was going to be my dog. I sent an email to ask for more info about her and Kim wrote me back right away happy to answer any questions I had. She told me all about Clover's backstory and what to expect when bringing her home. Since she was located in AR and I am in CT we arranged a FaceTime so I could see Clover "in person." Kim really went above and beyond to help me through the entire process of adopting my dog, sending me pictures and keeping me updated every step of the way. Clover is a perfect fit for me and my family and I will be forever grateful for Kim and Second Chance Rescue for helping to connect us.

Victoria & Darcie

My boyfriend and I adopted sweet Darcie two days after my birthday. It was a momentous day as I had waited over 8 years to adopt a dog after my previous dogs, Hershey and Chelsea had passed. Darcie is my first rescue and I'm so thankful to have found her. She's affectionate, playful, energetic, and loyal. Our days are filled with walks, hikes, dog parks, belly rubs, tug of war, swimming, and fetch. She's the perfect dog for us in Colorado and we love her dearly. I'm so thankful for Petfinder and Darcie's rescue, Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups.

Frankie was one of 11 pups born to a rescue dog found walking the streets of Mississippi. He is truly the best thing that has happened to our family. He has brought such joy and happiness to our once quiet household…we can’t even imagine life without is sappy kisses and playful howls!
