I saw Alvin on Petfinder. I thought he would be a wonderful companion. I contacted Pet Rescue by Judy in Sanford, FL and talked to one of their intake specialist for a while. I filled out an application for adoption and made an appointment to go meet Alvin. It was love at first sight (although Alvin is partly blind). I wasn’t sure I wanted a senior dog (he’s 12) but he has been a great addition to our family. He gets along great with 2 of our 3 cats (we have a 14 year old cat that is antisocial) and he’s already getting spoiled by his humans.
