MY AGE: approx. 1 year 8 months (11/24) WEIGHT: approx. 55 lbs. WHERE I AM FROM: AL
MY STORY: Meet Zuri! She is a fun loving, playful young girl! She loves to play with toys - she tosses them in the air and runs around with them. She also likes her dog bed or a good blanket to lay on when she wants to rest. She loves to play and run with her 44 pound foster dog sibling. She is so smart and learns new tricks quickly. She already knows "sit" "stay" and "free." She is also potty trained and crate trained, and rides nicely in the car (with a little encouragement to jump up!).
Zuri needs her space during mealtime. She is learning to sit and wait for her food, and she eats away from other dogs. This helps her feel more safe and comfortable!
She is a lover and enjoys being pet, especially belly rubs and ear scratches. She gets excited to go on walks and is working on learning how to walk nicely on a leash. She would love to live with an active person who takes her for daily walks!!
Zuri originally came to us as a 5 month old pup, and was recently returned to Fluffy Dog Rescue. She lived with teens that did not treat her with respect and Zuri could not handle that. She has done well in the past with respectful and kind teenagers!!

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION. The application can be found on our site www.fluffydog.net, or by clicking on the purple Fluffy Dog Rescue wording found in the left corner of this page under the dogs name.
Our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state. We do not have a facility. Adopters must be 24 years old.We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
