Zoe Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler & Husky Mix Minneapolis, MN

Zoe is silly, bouncy and clumsy in the most adorable way. Friendly. Energetic and smart! Not at all surprising because her DNA includes Cattle Dog, Husky and Terrier… she got the best traits from each breed. She’s looking for a home that shares her personality traits (probably minus the clumsy part). She was born in February 2024, currently 35#.

Her theme song is “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. Just like the song, it’s hard to be around Zoe and not be lifted up by her antics and love of life. Toys that squeak, bones and sticks at the park are her favorite things. People are her favorite beings! She joyfully greets people and dogs she meets around town. Perhaps a run for Mayor is in her future?

Zoe’s life motto is “Let’s do it!” She is looking for a family that is on the go, just like she is. She wants to take them on daily walks and spend time running off leash in safe spaces, showing off her goofy (and clutzy) side. Loves to learn new things and smell new smells. After a day of fun with her people, curls up in a happy little ball on the couch to snooze the evening away.

Her perfect home loves smart dogs and wants to engage in continued training for mental stimulation. Best with kids aged double digits. Another dog with similar energy is a good fit - she adores playing with other pups (see video). Also be fine as an only dog. Crates beautifully, walks well on leash with the occasional reminder that pulling doesn’t work. She is not a fan of water – maybe those Husky roots? She is inquisitive about kitties and lives with a dog-savvy cat in her foster home.

Zoe is being fostered in St. Paul, MN.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Zoe's adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. All of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
