*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a dog and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a dog, after all home checks are done, the dog is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that dog.

Hello!  My name is Ziggy and once we meet, I think you will agree that I am the most perfect black and white pup around! I am a playful and energetic guy who LOVES spending time in the great outdoors and getting plenty of exercise every day! Not only am I kid-friendly but also dog friendly and my foster fam thinks I would thrive in a home with another young, active pup to keep me company.  I am very treat motivated which has made training a breeze.  While I am perfectly happy to snooze the night away in my create at bedtime, I am a BIG fan of snuggling! I am completely housetrained and if you see me hanging out by the back door, it means I need to go out! I love to play with toys and have perfected fetch! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a pre adoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $400-450.00, which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
