Meet ZIGGS!
He is a gorgeous, happy-go-lucky ~65-lb, almost 2 year old shepherd-husky-lab blend who has found himself homeless, but taken in by the nice owners, staff and volunteers of Emerald Street Kennels, Boise while he looks for a forever family.
ZIGGS knows sit (when he wants) and down and is treat-motivated to learn more. He seems to want to please his handler.
He is easy to walk with little or no pulling on leash. He showed no reaction to dogs playing in the yard or to 2 barking dogs on the other side of the chain-link fence. We will soon be trying him in the off-leash doggy playgroups.
ZIGGS seems to know what car rides are as he jumped right in and didn't want to get out.
