Hi, my name is Zelda. I’m pretty new at Mackenzie’s and I'm quickly becoming everyone's best friend! But I have to say, I am too much of a people kind of dog for the kennel environment. I spend a lot of time with the volunteer coordinator in her office, which is awesome for me because I get to greet all the volunteers and staff that stop by! I am quite the couch-potato while inside, but I do like to have a good romp out in a safely fenced in yard - I am a hound after all, I love to follow my nose. As you can see in the video, I absolutely LOVE ruffling around in a snuffle matt! It's un-earthly how cute my wrinkles are, seriously.

I enjoy being around children; ear rubs, kisses and getting one-on-one snuggles are the best! However, I have some prey drive and would not do well in a home with cats.
