-Zeke in New Hampshire American Bulldog & Boxer Mix Windham, NH

This love bug, Zeke is a 6-year-old, 90-pound boy who loves ALL people! He is a big, BOUNCY, wiggly, lover boy who gives big kisses and adores belly rubs.

Zeke gets VERY excited to meet new people and is working on not jumping or mouthing, but it’s just SO exciting for him! He loves EVERYONE. Zeke is smart and knows sit and stay, and he walks well on a leash with a harness. However, he does not have the best manners when meeting other dogs, not that he's mean, he's just very excited and will pull you to meet the other dog and sometimes dogs don't share his exuberance. He will need an adopter who can handle his size and energy level.

He loves his girlfriend and other friendly dogs at his daycare.

In 2021, Zeke was adopted by a wonderful woman, but he was sadly returned in January 2025 when her health took a major turn for the worse. She held onto Zeke as long as she could, but when she was no longer able to provide the care he needed, she made the heartbreaking decision to return him. Zeke is house-trained and crate-trained, though long hours in a crate are difficult for a dog of his size, age, and energy level. Time in the crate should be limited to only a couple of hours at a time.

Zeke does well with daily walks and loves playing in fenced open spaces. He adores everyone he meets, including kids, though smaller children could be accidentally knocked over due to his size and enthusiasm. While he loves to play with other dogs. We think he would be best paired with an older female dog and would enjoy a securely fenced yard. After a nice walk or play session, Zeke is more than happy to chill and soak up love and affection. Because he is a bully breed, his adopter must own their home and have homeowners insurance with no breed restrictions.

Adoption fees cover age specific vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichia test, worming and transport fees.

Through 6 months of age $450;
7 months to through 5 years $400;
6 years and under 9 years $325: bonded pairs are $500;
9 years and older $250: bonded pairs are $300

PLEASE NOTE - We will check your veterinary reference, to ensure that current and prior dogs have a history of being kept up to date on rabies and distemper, have had annual heartworm tests, and are on heartworm preventative at least 6 months of the year. Current pets must by spayed/neutered.

Imported dogs are transported on a USDA approved transport with a Health Certificate. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to getting on transport.
