Zeke (Bonded with Bruno) Pomeranian Mix Jefferson, LA

Bruno (short haired) and Zeke (long haired) were surrendered to the Jefferson Protective Animal Services (Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter) as their owner could no longer care for them. Both boys are about 11 years old and are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Bruno weighs about 11 lbs. and Zeke is about 16 lbs.

Bruno is the short haired little boy. He is very bonded to his brother Zeke. When we have had to separate them even for a short time, Bruno gets distressed.
Bruno and Zeke love being together and sharing a bed, blankets and toys. Bruno does have some storm anxiety that is easily managed. As long as his brother is nearby, he is happy. Zeke has some arthritis that is also easily managed with pain medication. Zeke came in with some missing hair that is slowly filling back in with medicated baths and good food (and love!)

Bruno and Zeke would like to find a home where they can live out their senior years in comfort. Perhaps you have a spot on your couch for these two older gentlemen?

Any dog that tests positive for heartworms can be treated through our Fix-A-Heart Program. Adopter has to buy a year supply of heartworm prevention before treatment begins.
