Meet Zara

Zara came from a very bad past - found in an abusive situation - emaciated, with open wounds and in a crate with her own feces. You would think this would make her hate people - but it is quite the opposite. She is the sweetest girl and just wants to please her humans. She is quick to form a bond, and can be protective of her human once that bond is formed. She is not good with cats, but does well with most dogs (an adopter with other dogs would need to test her to make sure it was a match). She is just the sweetest girl, and deserves a home where she can be the center of attention and never know neglect or pain again.
