Meet Zara, a lovable 65-pound Beagle, Pointer, and Basset mix ready to bring joy and warmth into your life! This charming, chubby girl adores people and is good with kids aged 5 and up, making her a great addition to a family with older children. Zara is an enthusiastic walker who enjoys exploring the outdoors and equally loves winding down with cozy cuddle sessions. While she isn’t the best fit for a home with cats, her friendly nature and affection for everyone she meets make her an ideal companion. She's been great with almost every dog she's met. Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets will be individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada for puppies who haven’t yet gotten their rabies shot - sorry!)
