ZARA - Super Photogenic!

She is a happy, sweet, trusting dog that loves her people beyond measure.

Zara is currently being fostered with several other dogs, all of whom she absolutely loves to play with (chase and wrestle are her favorites). She also really likes a good old fashioned tug-of-war. She still has one paw in her puppy phase, so sometimes her playful nature can get overly-excited and she needs a little correction/redirection.

So far, Zara has done well learning her house manners, which were a totally foreign concept to her a few short months ago. She knows to sit at the back door to be let outside to potty, and has taken to her crate training really well. She has never been trained on a leash, so that is going to take some time and patience, but she is a smart girl and she will pick it up in no time.

Zara is estimated to have a DOB of October 2017 and is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually and receive monthly preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
