It breaks our hearts when a dog gets a taste of the good life and then finds himself back at the shelter.
Yoyo was returned because he kept escaping from his backyard. He likes the taste of wood, and would break off pieces of fence, creating Yoyo-sized gaps.
Then, he'd wander around the cul de sac looking for people to greet.
He loves people.
In the home, Yoyo was crate-trained, house-trained, terrific with his canine buddy, Baloo, and absolutely in love with his little girl -- a tiny human toddler.
Yoyo is a fabulous family dog, and he misses his family desperately.
Yoyo is an escape artist -- he needs constant supervision outside (or a home with NO yard, where he's only leash-walked). He loves to chew things, but he also likes his crate, and we'll give you one of those!
Please come meet Yoyo -- he hasn't been himself since he was returned.
The real Yoyo is a joyful, affectionate, bouncy goof. We need your help getting him there again.
Yoyo would love to see you any day between 9am and noon, including weekends and holidays. He's waiting at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA.
