9-3-24: I am now 10 to 11 months old, and still awaiting my new home.

7-13-24 HI EVERYONE!! YARA here, and I am having my Mom rewrite everything for me, since Petfinder had a technical issue, and it erased all my progress that Mom had written up! So we are starting over!!
My name means LOVE and BEAUTY, and my Mom picked the right name for me! I have been with this rescue since January 2024, when Mom rescued me from the local Animal Control when I was just 10 weeks old! I am now 8 months old(DOB approx. November 2023) and no one is really asking to meet me or my brother! Why? I am the cutest little girl around, and I am spayed, current on my vaccines, micro chipped and on monthly heartworm prevention. I am about 22 pounds, so I won't get much bigger, and I look like I have that Puggish looking snout, mixed with, well, who knows, LOL...I am good on my manners, but you have to keep me on a schedule--as I do not give a sign that I need to go out. My crate is clean and dry, unless I am kept in there too long, then I have a wet one. I do sleep in the crate at night and when Mom is away. I am a good girl and I will go and sit by the door, waiting for the leash when I want to go out to play or do my business right out of the crate--Mom taught me that, so we are working on a signal for when I am not crated, other than YOU keeping me on a schedule! I love to play with the other dogs, and children, but I have not been around cats. Mom says that I have the prettiest shiny black coat that will go well with you and your life!! My greatest wish is that my new home have a fenced yard, as I would just be in heaven with that, since I LOVE to be outside, run and play!
