Hi, I'm Yadi, a 3.5-year-old, 85 lb male Lab mix with a nice balance of calmness and playfulness.

I grew up in a home with a family, but they had some life changes and they're unable to care for me any longer.

So I'm ready to start interviewing for the job of my forever family.

I'm a pretty chill pup most of the time. I love to chew on my bones or nurse on my blanket to self sooth. But when it's playtime, I come alive! I absolutely love playing fetch and tug-of-war. I'm great at bringing the ball back and I've almost mastered the art of dropping it so the humans can throw it again. I do play a bit rough for I would due best in a home with older children, no young kids as I may bowl them over.

I'm already trained to "sit" and "down," and I'm working on walking nicely on a leash but get excited when I see other dogs and can pull.

I'm also potty trained and don't need to be crated as I don't misbehave when my people are not around.

Adopters must live within an hour's drive of St. Louis, MO.

Yadi's adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
