Meet Xochitl
CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ: **PRETTY LADY ALERT** Exotic young beauty Xochitl is super friendly and bursts with happiness, showering all those around her with love and joy!
Xochitl (sow-cheel) is a little over 1 year old and weighs 44 lbs. A cheerful girl, Xochitl is extremely sweet and frequently seeks affection to remind you that she loves you so much! She is super dog friendly and loves to play with new pals. She previously lived with children, but would do best with kids 10 years old and up. She was bought by her original family in Mexico, so her breed is quite rare up here in the Northeast. Unfortunately, that family also abandoned her, because of her allergies, at an overcrowded city shelter. After a long stressful stay, poor Xochitl found herself a little worse for wear and awaiting euthanasia. Luckily, a wonderful foster family took her in just in time. Her allergies are managed with one apoquel a day, which is a common medication for dogs. Her name means “flower” in the Nahuatl language and it really can’t be any more fitting as this girl blossoms with life in her loving foster home. Xochitl is full of life and happiness, she loves to play and is always ready for a game of fetch! She is an active girl with a higher energy level but is also very smart and quickly learns what you want her to. She is just adorable when she plays with other pups, prancing around with her ears flipping about. Xochitl is gorgeous and her adorable one-ear flop makes her even more special. You might say her cuteness is ear-resistible! Xochitl is fully vetted, being treated for her allergies, spayed, microchipped and ready for her forever home. Can you be the one to give this deserving girl her happily ever after?
