Xena is a 3 year old German Shepard mix with a calm and gentle spirit. She is 52 pounds, light on her feet, and always up for an adventure. Named after the fierce warrior princess, she is loyal, strong, and stunning. She will stealthily stalk a squirrel with ease, and then relax alongside you in the park. Xena is a wonderful balance: still young enough to joyfully play around, but wise enough to not stress the little things. She is not too interested in other dogs, and would rather hang out with you. She is very calm indoors, and is keen to find a comfortable place to doze. She loves being pet, and will place her paw on your hand and wiggle her big ears to show her appreciation. She is crate trained, house trained, kind to children, and never pulls on her lease. She is currently fostered without other pets in a city apartment, and is becoming comfortable with the elevators. Adopt this sweetheart and you truly will have a new best friend!
