Meet Woofy
Woofy is an absolute sweetheart who adores belly rubs and all the pets. While he's generally a loving companion, he will growl if he's uncomfortable to let you know. He has a special fondness for his stuffies, especially his cuddly puppy.
Woofy only barks when he sees something or someone unfamiliar or when he needs to go potty. He loves drinking lots of water and prefers not to be petted while eating.
Despite being a tripawd, he gets around very well and benefits from minor daily exercise to keep his legs strong. He doesn’t like to be jumped on by other dogs and loves short walks and laying down next to his people.
Currently, we are working on potty training. Woofy doesn't need to be kenneled as he doesn't destroy things when left out, but due to his potty training status, he does need to stay in a kennel when left alone. He thrives in the company of other dogs, which seems to boost his spirits, although he is not good with cats.
Woofy would flourish in a loving home where he can either be with other gentle dogs or be the sole dog. He is great with senior dogs and will make a wonderful addition to a kind and caring family.
Woofy has never known what it's like to live inside for his entire 9 years of life, so he is slowly adjusting to inside dog life.
Woofy is currently 65 lb, and fully vetted, and neutered.
Woofy is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada for the right home.
